Surge Talk
This was a talk I gave in the summer of 2018 discussing the impact all the my teachers, from kindergarten to twelfth grade, had on me and how my experiences have made me future ready to continue my education in college and help to achieve my goal of getting a career in business that greatly helps the lives of others.
VEI Class
VEI stands for Virtual Enterprise International, this is a class that is unlike any other. This is because everyday in this class the students are going to work. I took Virtual Enterprise International because I would like to major in Business. VEI provides a real life feel of what it's like to work for a company. The company I work for is Catalyst, we sell retro jerseys and clothing. Within this class there are multiple departments that work together in order to achieve a common goal. I am the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Catalyst and I oversee the Administration/Human Resource departments. Everyday I am responsible for making a calendar of tasks and creating deadlines for these tasks in order to ensure that my departments get them done on time. Below is the resume I made in order to apply for the position of Chief Marketing Officer, even though I did not get this position I was still able to obtain a leadership role of CAO.
Neuqua Honor
Neuqua Honors is an award that is given to students at Neuqua who go above and beyond the school standards and make the school a better place. Last month I received the Equity award from my Sociology teacher as a Neuqua Honor and was celebrated at this event along with the other recipients. Not only was receiving this award super humbling, but it has inspired me to get a career that impacts the lives of others because that is a passion I've always had. Mrs. Kontos, the one who nominated me, is a teacher that I've had for two of my four years at Neuqua has made such an impact on my life. Throughout my four years in High School I've realized that if I remember one thing it's going to be the people and all of the memories we made here at Neuqua and for that I am very grateful.
